A spectator makes a choice from a group of options presented and the performer then openly demonstrates the devices he used to subliminally influence the apparently freely made choice.

In Example 1 the spectator chooses one from four character cards and the performer demonstrates how objects on the reverse of each of the four cards subliminally influenced that choice.

The spectator finds their destination is the only one missing from a clutch of boarding passes. The performer produces the missing document from his pocket. Then on the reverse side, it is revealed that what the spectator is wearing, what they have on their head and what they are holding influenced their choice of destination.
