I’ve often said we all hold within our minds an idea of what Hypnosis is. Our own personal version of what it means to be Hypnotized. So, where does it come from? I firmly believe there’s an anthropologically based, deeply held subconscious ability to trance, meditate or engage in prayer prevalent in every human culture, [...] Read more »

The more observant among you will notice I’ve just added a new page to the site: FAQ This series of videos answers all the usual questions I’m asked about Hypnosis. The videos are aimed at those who might be interested in a Hypnosis show or Hypnotherapy or are just curious. For those interested in learning [...] Read more »

One Antipodean treat(?) I’ve never developed a liking for is Scorched Almonds. In fact, before I moved to New Zealand 10 years ago, I’d never even heard of them. Now, let’s get one thing clear. Home to The Vespa Room, The Twisted Hop, Goodbye [...] Read more »

This is a phrase I often hear regarding selection of volunteers for a show. Up until recently, my response would probably have been “I’ve never met anyone without that ability.” This post will show that I’ve obviously just been lucky and I learned an important lesson… Now they weren’t volunteers for Hypnosis, they were for [...] Read more »

This question was one posed by my good friend Sean Michael Andrews on another site recently and I feel it didn’t get the response it deserved. Maybe most people over on that site just don’t know what to say! I don’t know whether Sean is planning to reveal the results of some recent study he’s [...] Read more »
